How do I register or update the activation key ?

The activation key reflects the software license you have purchased or rented. It is the key that determines the software version (Light, Standard, PRO), the number of simultaneous connections and possibly the modules to which you have access.

 

You can change the configuration of the software at any time (adding simultaneous connections or modules, changing the version) by changing your activation key. At the time of such a change, Micro Consulting delivers a new activation key to be registered in the software.

 

You access the key registration dialog from Maintenance (accessible via the File>Maintenance menu) by calling the Maintenance>Registration command. Note that only the Administrator user is authorized to access this dialog.

 

New license

 

If the key was given to you in the form of a code of about 30 characters, enter this code in the Activation key field, then click on the Validate key via Internet button. After confirmation of its validity, save the key by validating the dialog.

 

If the key was given to you in the form of a file with the .LIC extension, use the Import button at the bottom left of the dialog to retrieve the file on your disk. After importing, your details will be displayed in the dialog and you just have to validate it.

 

License change

 

If you already saved a key and you only change the license (license extension, new module, further simultaneous connections, upgrade…), simply click on the Receive key via Internet button. After some seconds, the new key is displayed. Check that the new software configuration corresponds to what you want.

 

If you are using Office Maker in the Cloud, Micro Consulting takes care of saving any modification of your key.
