Adjustment of the average cost price of items

The Correction command appears in the Action menu only when the current file is the ‘Stock Movements’ file. It allows you to correct the value of an item's “Average Cost Price” field.

To ensure that this adjustment is reflected in the accounting records, Office Maker Business generates an adjustment entry in the Movements file.

After entering the Item Code, you can then edit the Average Cost Price or the Stock Value. When you edit either value, the program recalculates the other based on the quantity on hand.

If you export movements to accounting software, you can fill in the Account, Counterpart, and Profit-Cost Center fields for this adjustment.
