How do I display all records of a file ?

When you use the software's search function, it creates a selection from the records found.

Once the selection of records has been processed, you can display all the records in the file again by calling the Show all command in the Action menu. The Show all button on the buttons bar  has the same effect.

Tip: long-click or right-click on the Show all button to access additional commands:

  • Hide all: hides all records. This command can be useful when you are about to enter new records. After validation, new records will not be buried in the mass of existing records and can therefore be found more easily, making them easier to print, for example.
  • Invert the selection: hides displayed records and shows hidden records. This command can be useful after finding records based on a specific criterion (e.g. all invoices or accounting entries created from a certain date, all address records from a certain location, etc.). Calling up the Invert the selection command excludes records linked to this search criterion. In the examples given, you would obtain all invoices or accounting entries created before the date searched for, or the address files of all other localities.
