The password dialog box

When the program is started or the File>Change user command is called up, the password dialog is displayed.

This dialog consists of two fields:

• Name : account name.
• Password : password set for the account name.

The name can be saved using the Remember my name checkbox. This will automatically fill in the field next time.

By default, the password is entered “blind” (the characters entered are scrambled) to maintain confidentiality. Click on the eye icon to display the password entered “in clear”. Please note that the program is case-sensitive.

Note: the password is set for accessing a data file, not for opening the program, which means that it may be different for each of the data files you manage.

Confirm the dialog with OK, Return or Enter, and if the name and password are accepted, the program will display the main window .

What can I do if the password is not accepted? 

Password forgotten/lost

If you've forgotten or lost your password, enter the account name and click on the Password forgotten? link, and an e-mail resetting your password will be sent to the e-mail address associated with the account you've entered.

If the administrator has forgotten his account name, he can enter *admin to receive the reset e-mail.
