How do I enter a postal code ?

The Postal codes file is accessible via the Data menu. To create a new record, call the Action>New command or click on the New button.

 

A postal code record consists of the following fields:

 

  • Postal code
  • City : name of the city
  • Municipality number : not enterable (only for locations in Switzerland)
  • Canton
  • Country

 

Note: By default, an OM Staff data file contains all postal codes in Switzerland. Entering a zip code is therefore only justified for locations abroad.
