How do I search all issues received for a given periodical ?

In the Titles file, use the Find command in order to find the periodical record. When found, activate it and choose the Linked records command (in the Action menu) and in the dialog box, choose Issues. You get all issues linked to this periodical.

In the cataloguing template for a periodical, the field Issues contains all issues linked to the periodical.
