How do I globally modify the loan duration for several titles at once ?

The loan duration for a title (or for a copy) is stored in the Copies file. Therefore, if you want to globally change the loan duration for several copies, display the Copies file and use the Apply command.

Please search first in the Titles file the titles for which you want to edit the loan duration. After you have found them, call the Action>Linked records>Copies command in order to find the corresponding copies records. Then call the Action>Apply>Target:Duration command.

Caution : if you change your loan policy and would also like that future titles to automatically receive a new loan duration, please change this default value in the Title Options (call the Action>Options command in the Titles file), choose the title type, click on Modify and edit the loan duration.
