Modify records

You can modify one or more records displayed in the main window by calling up the Modify command from the Action menu, by clicking on the Modify button in the buttons bar  or by choosing the Modify command from the contextual menu called up by right-clicking.

To modify one or more specific records, they must first be activated . The first record in the selection appears on the screen, and corrections can be made in the same way as when entering a new record.

When modifying a record, the buttons at the bottom of the screen allow you to :

Validate save changes to the record and return to the main window.
Cancel close the record without saving changes and return to the main window.
return to the previous record in the selection, validating the corrections made to the current record. If you are on the first record in the selection, this button is inactive.
go to the next record in the selection, validating the corrections made to the current record. If you are on the last record of the selection, this button is inactive.

delete the current record when the operation is authorized. A confirmation message appears if necessary.

enter a written comment, consult the record creation and modification dates.
associate one or more external files or website addresses with the current record.
