How do I define the numbering of titles ?

Every title record must have a number, generally automatically given by the system.

By default, monographs start with number 1, periodicals with number 10’000, articles with number 20’000, non-books with number 30’000.

Nevertheless, you can start with different numbers : choose the Options (Action>Options) in the Titles file, activate the corresponding type, click on the Modify button. Tick the Automatic numbering check box, type in the Next number field the next number you want to use.
