How do I get free title numbers that are not used any more ?

When you delete titles records, the corresponding record numbers are not automatically used for the next records.

If you want to use these free numbers, the easiest way is to define a small next number in the Options of the Titles file. When cataloguing the next title, BiblioMaker will try to allocate this number to the record. If the number is already in use, BiblioMaker will try again with the next number and so on, until a free number is found.

Please note : if the next free number is much higher than the next number defined in the options, BiblioMaker will have to try over and over again. This can last for several minutes and you will have to wait with a blank cataloguing template until the next number has been found. So, if you get a blank template, please wait for some minutes.
