How do I simulate an employee's salary ?
Office Maker Staff is able to calculate your employees' salaries, with the exception of some missing information, the Variables , which must be specified, where applicable, before each salary form is created.
Open an Employee record; at the bottom of the window, click on the calculator button : | ![]() |
In the window that appears, there's no need to modify the proposed dates. Simply click on the OK button.
This will calculate a salary slip which will not actually be saved, but simply presented to you on the screen. For an employee with a monthly salary (not dependent on the number of hours worked), and apart from the calculation of vacation days, this sheet should be accurate.
Only the salary types actually printed on the salary slip appear in this window. To see all the values calculated by the program (the employer's share of the various social security charges, for example), check the Display all box.
