Editing the decimal separator on your computer
When starting up the software, the following error message could be displayed :
"Error. The decimal separator must be a dot and not a comma in your system configuration."
You solve the issue as follows :
Under macOS :
Until macOS 12 (Monterey) : Open the System preferences>Language & Region. Click on the "Advanced" button. At the "General" tab, in the "Decimal" field, enter a dot.
From macOS 13 (Ventura) : Open the System settings>General>Language & Region. Under Region, choose Europe>Switzerland, then under Number format choose a format with a dot as decimal character (unfortunately, the 123'456.89 format is not available, but you can find it by choosing the Liechtenstein region).
Under Windows 10 :
Open the Control Panel. View the panels by Category. Click on "Change Date, time or number formats", then on "Additional settings". At the "Numbers" tab, in the "Decimal" symbol field, enter a dot.
Under Windows 7 :
Open the Control Panel. View the panels by Category. Click on "Change keyboards or other input methods". At the "Formats" tab, click on "Additional settings". At the "Numbers" tab, in the "Decimal" symbol field, enter a dot.
