Stop Office Maker Server or BiblioMaker Server

You stop Office Maker Server or BiblioMaker Server by using the Quit command in the File menu (Windows) or the application menu (macOS). The program offers to stop in 10 minutes, to give client workstations time to quit (but if no client workstations are connected, the program quits immediately).

If clients are connected when you give the quit command, an alert message is displayed on their workstation, with a countdown timer. If clients do not exit the program in time, an error -10'002 is displayed on their screen.

Under Windows, if Office Maker Server or BiblioMaker Server has been registered as a service (automatic startup even without a session open on the server), you can also stop the program running by stopping the service. Please note, however, that stopping the service does not offer the same options as "manual" stopping: the stop is immediate and any users who may be connected are disconnected without prior warning.
