Server settings dialog box
Office Maker Server and BiblioMaker Server rely on numerous settings for their operation. This article describes the window containing all these settings, with links to articles explaining how to modify some preferences.
You can display the window containing all the server application settings by calling the following command:
macOS : menu File>Settings>User settings for data file
Windows : menu Edit>Settings>User settings for data file
The window is splitted in several tabs :
Interface Tab
This page does not contain any settings relevant to software users. We recommend that you do not change these preferences.
Database Tab
On this page, set the maximum size of the cache memory. This setting has a significant impact on the software's response times. Please refer to this article for more information.
Backup Tab
Set the automatic backup settings here. See this article for more information.
Client-server Tab
This page contains settings relating to communication between the server and client workstations.
Web Tab
This page contains the settings for the integrated web server. Please do not change them, as this may disrupt the proper functioning of the software.
SQL Tab
This page contains the settings for the integrated SQL server. Only the port number parameter is relevant. This article provides further information.
PHP Tab
This page lists the settings for the PHP interpreter. Please do not modify them, as this may disrupt the proper functioning of the software.
