How do I find titles if I don’t know exactly in which field to search ?

It can happen that you don’t know exactly in which field an information has been entered. Thus, the search can be fastidious, as you would have to search in each field, hoping to find what you are looking for.

Nevertheless, there is a function for searching in several fields at once : in the Titles file main window, use the search field at the top right corner in the buttons bar. Click on the magnifying glass icon and select the All value, then enter the search value in the field : the application immediately displays the records containing this value.

The global search is based on the index of extended keywords. You define which fields must be indexed in the extended keywords in a dialog box you reach with the Options command in the Action menu, General button, Extended keywords tab.
