How do I print barcode labels for titles ?
You can print barcode labels, even if you don’t have the Loans module, as BiblioMaker generates a barcode during the cataloguing.
Barcode labels are usually printed on A4 pages containing 24 labels. Therefore, it is recommended to print labels only when you have catalogued about 20 titles, and not after each title.
The Status field can be used in order to mark the records for which you want to print barcode labels.
After the titles have been recorded, call the Find or Search command in order to find the titles, then choose the Print command in the File menu. Select then the Barcode labels format.
Notice : if an ISBN is printed as a barcode on the book, you can save the printing of a barcode label by using the ISBN for the book identification in the loans management.
