The Totalize command in the Action menu

The Totalize command only appears in the Action menu if the current file is the Accounts or Profit-Cost Centers file. It is only useful if you have not activated Automatic Totalization in the Accounts (or Profit-Cost Centers) file Options.

In Accounts, it calculates totalizing account balances by aggregating the balances of lower-level accounts.

In Profit-Cost Centers (available in the Standard and PRO versions of Finance), it updates class balances (provided classes have been defined) by aggregating the balances of the attached centers.
