Display an instant account abstract
![]() |
You can display an instant abstract of the account whose record you have activated in the main window by clicking on the Abstract button at the bottom of the window. |
Entries appearing in the scrolling area can be sorted by clicking on the column headers. Right-click in the Label column to choose between displaying the main label only, or the label and/or secondary label.
Press Alt/Option to open a second account statement window. You can continue to operate the program as normal, while keeping the bank statement windows open on your screen.
Selecting the data to display
![]() |
Entries appearing in the scrolling zone relate to the Account No. and/or Profit/Cost Center indicated in the upper section. |
To obtain an extract from a specific account (or profit/cost center), simply enter its number (or code). You can also browse accounts or profit/cost centers by clicking on the arrows.
To view a particular entry in greater detail, simply double-click on the desired line.
By default, the program displays data for the complete Period, i.e. from the first to the last day of the fiscal year. You can restrict the display to a specific month (or quarter, or half-year), by selecting it from the Period pop-up menu. |
![]() |
It is also possible to enter the Start and End fields directly, to cover any period. In all cases, the program recalculates the totals of the Debit and Credit columns, as well as the Balance of the account (or Profit/cost Center). Amounts are displayed in basic currency, or in foreign currency, if you tick the corresponding box.
The values displayed at the bottom of the scrolling area (Balance and Variation over Period) are systematically recalculated, depending on the selection of entries displayed.
This means you can instantly and continuously find out the status of an account for a period or on a date of your choice.
Display options
Amounts are displayed in basic currency, but can also be displayed in foreign currency. Each line in the scrolling area corresponds to a single entry; in the case of a multiple entry, the Counterpart column will show "Multiple"; for a more detailed display, check the Detailed counterparts box.
Finally, if you tick the Linked documents option, the scrolling area will display an additional first column, with an indicator for each entry to which documents have been linked.
Quick search box
Above and to the right of the scroll zone, a quick search box is available. Simply type the first few characters of the value you're looking for. The search is performed in all the columns of the scroll zone. The number of lines containing the value in question is then displayed to the left of the search box, and the first of these lines is activated in the scroll zone. | ![]() |
To move to the next line found, or return to the previous one, click on the arrows or use the key combinations Control ↑ and Control ↓ (Windows) or Command ↑ and Command ↓ (macOS).
Click on the cross in the search box to delete the search criteria.
Notice : This search does not isolate the entries found in the scroll zone. It simply highlights them, one by one.
Direct access to entries
If you double-click on a line in the scrolling area of the account statement, or click on the Modify button at the bottom of the window, you open a new window for modifying the selected entry, just as it would appear if you accessed it directly from the Entries file.
It is not possible to modify the amounts of an entry if one of the accounts (or centers) that appear in it is open for modification in another window, or on another workstation in the network in the multi-workstation version.
Printing the instant account abstract
You can print the statement directly by simply selecting the Print command from the File menu, or by clicking on the Print button at the bottom of the window. If several statements are displayed, the one in the active window is printed.
