Using Office Maker Server or BiblioMaker Server in a heterogeneous network

A network is said to be heterogeneous when the computers connected to it use different platforms: for example, macOS and Windows.

Office Maker Server and BiblioMaker Server can work in a heterogeneous network, communicating simultaneously with macOS and Windows clients using the TCP/IP protocol.

Office Maker Server and BiblioMaker Server are installed in the same way as in a homogeneous network. This article  describes the procedure.

Similarly, the installation of Office Maker Client or BiblioMaker Client is carried out in the same way as in a homogeneous network.

The only difference is that you need to follow the procedure for the corresponding platform.
