Network access blocking as of macOS 15 Sequoia
macOS 15 Sequoia introduces a new security measure for granting network access to an application:
When an application is started for the first time, a warning message appears: Allow [application name] to find devices on local networks?
If it's an Office Maker or BiblioMaker application (single-user, client or server), it's essential to click on the Authorize button, otherwise the application won't be able to access the network. This means that the client application will not be able to connect to the server, Business's OMB Mobile or BiblioMaker's OPAC Web will not work, etc.
In System Settings, Privacy & Security, Local Network, a list of applications is displayed, each with a switch giving authorization or not. Make sure that authorization is given to the Office Maker and BiblioMaker programs.
