Sending e-mails, messages or attachments not received
It may happen that the recipients of your e-mails sent via the Office Maker or BiblioMaker software notify you that they have not received your message or an attached file.
You can take the following steps to try to solve the problem:
- Ask your recipient to check that your e-mail has not been considered undesirable and filed in the spam folder.
- Resend the e-mail using a different recipient e-mail address (e.g. their private e-mail address) to ensure that the problem is not with the e-mail host.
- Change your e-mail settings (in your software's Maintenance) so that every e-mail sent is copied to you: enter your e-mail address in the Blind carbon copy field. In this way, you can be sure that the messages you send have actually gone out, and that they contain the attachment you require. If this is the case, the problem lies with the recipient.
In our experience, the most common reason for non-received e-mails or missing attachments is the overly strict security rules adopted by e-mail hosting providers, over which we have no influence.
Another example is a message sent which is returned with an error message containing the keywords DKIM or SPF. Please read this article for more information.
