How do I save a report and display it in the formats list ?
The quick report editor (available with the Create… button in the Print dialog box) lets you define your own list format (fields that should be printed, style you want to use and so on). A nice looking format can take some time to set up, therefore it would be annoying to be obliged to re-create it each time you want to use it. The software allows you to save a format and reuse it later.
When you have defined your report, click on Validate and give the report a name. Then quit the report editor. The report’s name will be automatically displayed in the printing dialog.
