Generate PDF printouts
Office Maker and BiblioMaker offer a wide range of print formats, from lists to letters and labels. By default, all print orders are sent to the printer. But if you'd rather get your printout in digital form (PDF) for e-mailing, archiving or publishing on a website, here's how to go about it:
Call up the print command, select the desired print format and check the Preview box. After confirming the dialog, the standard print windows appear. Select the desired parameters and confirm. You'll get a print preview, displayed in the Preview application (on Mac) or in your web browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or similar (on Windows).
On the Mac, select Export from the File menu, enter the file name you want to give to the PDF file and choose its location on the disk. |
In Windows, call up the Save As command (which may take the form of a floppy disk icon), give the PDF file a name and choose its location on disk. |
Once the PDF file has been saved, you can attach it to an e-mail, archive it in a folder or publish it on a website.
