How do I get statistics about queries sent to the online catalog ?

If you activate the queries log in the Configuration of WebOPAC, each query sent over a form is saved in the WebOPAC Statistics file. You can access this file from the Data menu.

The WebOPAC Statistics Print dialog box contains several formats for getting the number of queries during a given timeframe, their distribution by query type etc.

The WebOPAC Statistics Export dialog box contains an export format for queries. After you have exported queries, open with a spreadsheet the generated text file and use the spreadsheet tools in order to analyse the queries. In particular, it could be quite interesting to analyse queries by subject in order to compare words used by readers and your own subjects.
