How to send template letters or e-mails ?
Once you have created a template letter in the namesake file, you can send it to one or more address records:
In the Addresses file, select and activate the addresses to send the template letter to.
If the template letter is an e-mail, click on the Send e-mail button at the bottom of the main Addresses window. A dialog for selecting the E-Mail template letters is displayed. Select the desired template letter and confirm with the Continue button. A second dialog allows you to edit the template letter and, if necessary, to change the sender's e-mail account. Confirm the dialog and the program will send the e-mail to the selected addresses.
If the sample letter is of the Normal (letter) type, click the Send letter button at the bottom of the main Addresses window. A dialog for choosing the Normal or ISR template letter will appear. Select the desired template letter and confirm with the Continue button. A second dialog allows you to edit the template letter. Confirm the dialog and the program prints the letter for each selected address.
For each e-mail sent or letter printed, the program creates an Event record linked to the recipient's address. This way you keep track of the sending.
