Validate data entry or modification
You confirm entry of the record by clicking on the Validate button or by using the combination of the Control-Return (Windows), Alt-Enter (macOS) or Command-Return (macOS) keys. This operation saves the data on the disk.
If the record on the screen was an existing record, the changes you have made are saved; they are also saved if you change form using the Next and Previous buttons.
If the record on the screen was a new record, the program automatically suggests you continue with the creation of another record (see below).
Repetitive Entries
When you click on Validate in order to confirm the saving of a new record, the program automatically proposes to continue with the creation of next record. You can thus create a series of records without being obliged to choose the New command each time.
To interrupt this process and return to main window just click on the Cancel button, after having validated the last record entered. If you don’t want to have repetitive entries, remove the Loop input option with a secondary click on the New button of the buttons bar.
