Installation of the barcode font

Are you working on a new computer or have recently installed a major system update and when you print barcodes you get legible characters instead of bars? The most likely cause is that the barcode font has not been installed on your computer.

Here is how to install the barcode font:

1. In the Addresses file, select 1 or 2 address cards.
2. Call the File>Print command and select the print format Barcode list.
3. Print a preview of the list.
4. An alert warns you that the barcode font is missing and suggests that you install it. Accept the suggestion.
5. A window with a sample of barcodes appears. Click on the Install button*.
   *This installation may require administrator rights.
6. Close the barcode window and restart BiblioMaker or BiblioMaker Client.

Printing barcodes should now work.
