Free up disk space by removing auxiliary files from older versions of Office Maker or BiblioMaker.

The Office Maker and BiblioMaker software programs have an automated update mechanism that replaces one version of the program with a more recent version. However, this version replacement is not complete, as ancillary files are not deleted. The accumulation of these ancillary files can take up a significant amount of space and thus contribute to saturating the computer's boot disk.

Therefore, if you notice that the boot disk is running out of free space, consider deleting these additional files located in the following location:

On the server

Windows macOS

C:\Users\[Account_name*]\Appdata\Roaming\[OM Business | OM Finance | OM Staff | BiblioMaker]\[Older_version_number**]

C:\Users\[Account_name*]\Appdata\Roaming\[OM Business | OM Finance | OM Staff | BiblioMaker]\4D\[Older_version_number**]

* Account_name : This is the account used to start the Office Maker Server | BiblioMaker Server software service concerned.

** Older_version_number : Delete only the folder with the number of an outdated version of the software, not the current version.

By default, the AppData folder is hidden. You access it by opening the File Explorer and by entering %Appdata% in the address bar,
