If the automatic software update fails
Your program features a fully automated update function. When we publish a new version of the program, the next time you start it up, the update will be offered to you.
In the single-user version, this update is performed on your workstation.
In the multi-users version, the main update is performed on the server (although started from the client software), and then your client software can be updated.
It may happen that the software update (single-user or client) on your workstation fails. The reason for this is that the folder containing the single-user or client software does not have sufficient permissions to install the new version.
The single-user or client software is located in an Office Maker or BiblioMaker folder in the Programs/Applications folder. It is important to leave the application in this folder, so that the automatic update functions correctly. This folder has all the rights required to run and update the programs it contains. These authorizations must not be modified for local users.
You could very well install this folder and the applications in another folder, or even at the root of a disk, but you must leave these rights as described above.
If an antivirus is installed on the workstation, you will need to add an exception for the Office Maker or BiblioMaker program(s) and, if necessary, authorize the download if a blocking rule is activated in the firewall for outgoing traffic or other download rules.
Our Support department is not authorized to modify user rights for obvious reasons of security and operation of your internal computer network.
