Using upper limits in OM Staff

Upper limits can be taken into account when calculating certain salary types, using the UpperLimit() function.

 

Upper limits are accessed via the Other button (cogwheel) in the main window, Configuration command, Settings tab.

 

In the Pro version, a new upper limit is created using the Add button. The Modify and Delete buttons are used to modify or delete the selected upper limit.

 

Notes :

  • When an upper limit is modified, all formulas using it are modified accordingly. It is impossible to delete an upper limit used in a formula.
  • Standard ELM (swissdec) parameterization does not use any values in this field. Upper limits are defined in the Institutions file.
