Cataloguing of titles, entering Addresses and links

The cataloguing grid consists of several pages. One page contains fields linking the title with Addresses, Hyperlinks and other titles.

Addresses field

This field contains address records linked to the document. These may include the document's supplier (bookshop or donor).

To enter a value, click on the + symbol to the left of the field, then enter the desired address code or name preceded by the slash. Examples: SWIL (supplier code) or /Will (supplier name).

Hyperlinks field

This field contains Hyperlinks linked to the document. For the record, Hyperlinks are digital resources such as the address of a website or a digital document (PDF file, Word, Excel, image, film, etc.).

To enter a value, click on the + symbol to the left of the field, then enter the title. Example: library if this term appears in the Hyperlink record title. If you can't find an existing Hyperlink record, the program suggests you create one.

Related Titles field

This field contains links to other titles in the catalog, whether other editions, translated versions or the same work in another medium.

To enter a value, click on the + symbol to the left of the field, then enter the desired document shelf mark or a word from the title preceded by the slash. Examples: 123.2 (shelf mark) or /law (word from the title of the document searched for).

Adding a link to another title modifies the record of the linked title and adds the reverse link.
