Printing the Balance sheet
The balance sheet can be printed at any time. Certain parameters can be specified in the options window:
![]() |
Maximum level allows you to specify the level of detail of the report, i.e. the maximum level of accounts to appear in the balance sheet. Accounts higher than the specified level will not be printed, but their balances will be accumulated in the corresponding totalizer accounts. With account numbers prints the account number in front of the account name. By selecting the Liabilities on separate page option, a page break is automatically made before the liabilities are printed. The Ignore zero balances option lets you omit accounts with a provisional balance of zero. Provisional entries can be included in the balance sheet. 3 columns totals shows cumulative totals in three separate columns. The amounts will be printed without the centimes if you tick the Hide cents option. The balance sheet can be printed in foreign currencies by checking the corresponding option. By clicking on the Comparisons button (available with the PRO version only), you can print out the previous year's values in an additional column: specify in the displayed window the year of comparison, and request printing of budgeted values rather than actual values. The Layout for commune option (available in PRO version only) enables you to print the balance sheet in a presentation that complies with Swiss communal requirements, but which may also be useful for companies. For each account, this document shows the statement at the beginning of the year, the increase, the decrease and the statement at the end of the year. |
Historical situation provides the balance sheet at the date indicated. Balance sheet creation with this option is instantaneous if no entries exist after the requested date.
If the historical situation is requested for the opening date of the financial year, a checkbox entitled Opening balance sheet is proposed. This option prints the balance sheet with the title "OPENING BALANCE SHEET" and automatically ignores any entries made on the same opening date.
Analytical balance sheet
With the Standard version, to print the balance sheet according to a given Analytical group, check the option and specify the desired group.
With the PRO version, check the Profit-cost centers box to print out an analytical report.
- With the All option, balance sheet values will be calculated for all defined profit-cost centers.
- If you have already selected the profit-cost centers for which you wish to obtain the report, you can check the option Current selection. The report will then be printed once for each of the selected centers.
- The Specific option lets you specify the center for which you wish to obtain the report. You can also use the wildcard (@). For example: GE@ will print the report for all centers whose Code begins with GE; and if you tick the Separate box, the report will be printed once for each center whose Code begins with GE.
