The Layout editor's Edit menu

The Layout Editor's Edit menu contains the following commands:

Undo

Cancels the last command executed. The Undo command can be repeated to go back several steps.

Redo

Executes the last undone command again. The Redo command can be repeated to go back several steps.

Cut, Copy, Paste

The Cut command deletes the selected element(s). This selection is placed on the clipboard, replacing its previous contents.

The Copy command copies the selected item(s) to the clipboard, replacing its previous contents.

The Paste command inserts the contents of the clipboard at the insertion point. To specify the place in the document where you wish to paste, simply locate it beforehand by clicking with the mouse.

Select all

Choose this command to select all elements in the document area.

Duplicate

This command creates a copy of the selected object.

Delete

This command deletes the selected object.
