Manipulating objects in the Layout editor

To select an object just click on it. To move it, slide with the mouse. You can enlarge or reduce the selected object by sliding one of the redimensioning points.

To select several objects you draw a selection rectangle with the mouse. All the objects touched by this rectangle will be selected. You can also widen the selection by using the Shift key.

You can then displace the selected objects simultaneously.

You can also group several objects using the Group command in the Objects menu, so that all objects in the group are moved together.

Grouped objects can be ungrouped.

Ruler Guides

You can place ruler guides in the layout in order to precisely place objects. Click in the ruler and drag the blue line to the place you want.

You can move a ruler guide at any time. If you want to delete a ruler guide, move it back to the ruler.
