List of error numbers when sending an e-mail

Our software can be configured to send e-mails, or more precisely to communicate with your e-mail server using SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol).

During this communication with your mail (SMTP) server, various errors may occur. Each error is accompanied by a number, the meaning of which is as follows for the most common errors:

12 SMTP server address probably wrong
54 Unknown error
61 SMTP server address probably wrong
450 Recipient address probably incorrect
512 SMTP server address probably wrong
515 Recipient address probably incorrect
522 Recipient's mailbox full
523 Size of e-mail sent too large
541 The SMTP server does not answer
550 Recipient address probably incorrect
10'032 Port number of the SMTP server probably wrong
10'034 Recipient address probably incorrect
10'036 E-mail refused by the recipient's server as undesirable
10'042 Recipient address probably incorrect
10'046 SMTP server authentication problem, wrong account name or password
10'071 The sending server has cut the connection
10'113 SMTP server authentication problem, wrong account name or password
