How do I enter a delivery note for a customer ?

A delivery note can be generated in different ways:

• From the Offers file, after having selected one or more offers, with the Action>Convert... command: each offer selected will be the subject of a delivery note.
• From the Confirmations file, after having selected one or more confirmations, with the Action>Convert... command: each selected confirmation will be the subject of a delivery note.
• From the Orders file, with the Action>Generate delivery notes... command : the software will generate delivery notes according to the orders in progress and the options defined in the dialog displayed after the call to this order.

You can also enter a delivery note manually from the Delivery Notes file, accessible via the Sales menu. Call the Action>New command or the New button. If the delivery note to be entered is linked to an offer or an order confirmation sent to the customer, you can enter its number: the program will retrieve the main data to fill the note.

The window for entering a delivery note consists of the following main fields:

• Number (usually assigned automatically by the program)
• Date (usually the current date)
• Mode of shipment
• Our/Your reference
• Customer code: enter the customer's code or the beginning of the customer's name preceded by a slash (e.g. /Center). If the program finds several potential customers, a selection window will appear. Once the desired customer has been selected, its address is copied into the offer.
• Item code: Enter the code or the beginning of the short name of the item. If the program finds several items, a selection window is displayed. Once the desired item is selected, complete with the quantity and a unit. Repeat the operation for each item to be mentioned in the delivery note.
• Button Letter : this button gives access to the word processing integrated in the software. You have the possibility to write a text. This appendix can be reserved for internal use or printed at the same time as the delivery note.

Once you have entered all the information, validate the delivery note to save it.
