How do I search for records ?

In almost all the files in the database, it is possible to search for previously entered records. Several functions with numerous criteria are at your disposal to find these records:

  • At the top right of the button bar, the search field. Useful for a quick and easy search.
  • In the Action menu, the Find  command. Useful for a search combining several criteria.
  • In the Action menu, the Search  command. Useful for a search on uncommon fields or a combination of many criteria.
  • In the Action menu, the Linked records  command. This is useful for searching for records in another file that are linked to the activated records (for example, debtor invoices from an address in OM Business, entries linked to an account in OM Finance or salary records from an employee in OM Staff).

The search functions are specific to each file and contain the fields of the corresponding file.
