Error -9935 on program startup, preference file damaged

If a -9935 error is displayed on program startup, this is a symptom of a damaged preference file.

The simplest solution is to delete this preference file so that the program can recreate it the next time it is started.

The location of the preferences file is as follows:

C:\Users\[Account name]\AppData\Roaming\[Application name]\[Application name].pref	Macintosh HD:Users:[Account name]:Library:Application Support:[Application name]:[Application name].pref
By default, the AppData folder is hidden. To open it and display its contents, enter %appdata% in the address bar of a File Explorer window.	By default, the Library folder is hidden. To open it and view its contents, open the Finder Go menu by pressing the Alt key to bring up the Library menu item.
