Non-modifiable Items-services codes

In the course of 2022, Items-services codes have become non-modifiable.

The freedom to modify article code results in an inconsistent database. Here are a few examples:

• If you change an item's code, you will no longer be able to link to invoices/payments already issued with this code. As a result, the history of your orders and services with your creditors and debtors will be broken.
• When converting an invoice into a payment, you run the risk of ending up with modified VAT amounts generated by an item code error. In fact, the codes you use are linked to statistics. The program will then detect the same invoice code, but with a link that no longer exists to the Items-services records. This will create errors.
• As mentioned, when you print out your sales/purchase statics, the data will no longer reflect the reality of the transactions carried out. 

In order to avoid this kind of error, the Item code can no longer be modified.
